banana cake


  • 3 bananas

  • 1 cup almond flour

  • 1 EGG 

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/4 cup arrow root or cassava flour

  • fresh strawberrieS/ BLUEBERRIES 


Banana cake.. cake sounds like something that can be considered a desert or treat. With this recipe, it doesn't have to be. Made with whole ingredients, super easy and quick to make, this recipe will become a regular for you and your family. Almond flour is a great substitute for regular flour because it is lower in carbs and more nutrient dense than regular flour. For most recipes that call for flour, keep in mind that an easy and more nutritious substitute can be almond, cassava or arrowroot flour, or a combination of all three! To keep this yummy treat sweet we like to get our sweetness from natural sugars like strawberries and bananas!If your bananas are starting to go bad, think of this recipe before dumping them away! If youre a big whip cream fan, skip the can and buy yourself organic coconut milk, mix in a blender and smear that whip over your cake and top with fresh strawberries for a delicious garnish.


  1. Start by turning on your oven and setting it to 350 degrees.

  2. Then peel all three bananas and blend together in a blender

  3. Then add 1 cup of almond flour, 1 tsp of vanilla, 1 tsp of baking soda and 1/4 cup of arrow root or cassava flour 1 egg and blend!

  4. Bake all ingredients in the oven for about 25-35 minutes if using a cake pan. Bake for 20-30 minutes if using individual muffin pans. 

  5. Take out and let cool for 5 minutes. For a cake like appeal top with whipped organic coconut milk, if not, top with some coconut sugar or cane sugar and some fresh organic berries!
